Donald Trump ridicules Joe Biden over campaign gaffes: US President Donald Trump, while addressing a campaign rally in Hershey, Pennsylvania, mocked former vice president Joe Biden over the latter’s repeated failure to remember which American state he was campaigning in on Tuesday. Trump’s statement came after Biden mistakenly referred to Ohio when he was Iowa, and when he was in New Hampshire, saying he was in Iowa or Vermont.
Biden’s campaign gaffes were caught on camera and it gave enough ammo to Trump to launch a scathing attack on the former vice president.
The attack didn’t end there. The US president mocked the former vice president over the latter’s failure to control fossil fuel production in Pennsylvania and his idea regarding free medical coverage ideas for illegal immigrants.
Trump asked his supporters at Hershey in Pennsylvania if they had ever noticed where Biden was saying he’s in the wrong state. The US president questioned what was wrong with Biden and wondered how many times a person can repeat his mistake.
Attacking Biden for failing to keep his poll promises, Trump asked voters in Pennsylvania if Biden had shut down fossil fuel production there. Exuding confidence in the voters of Pennsylvania, the US president also said that they won’t allow the same mistake to happen again inside their boundary.
Apart from that, the president also criticised Biden for his healthcare idea for illegal immigrants. Trump said the former vice president just raises his hand but he doesn’t know what he is doing.
On Sunday, Biden had reportedly said that he sometimes gets his words tangled up or finds himself searching for the right word when he is tired.
Trump sees illegal immigrants as a burden on the US economy. Reports said 11.3 million undocumented immigrants are living in the US now and the federal law requires hospitals to care for them in case of need even if they don’t have health insurance.
